This antique armoire was given away for free it was in such bad shape.... It had been pieced together from different pieces of wood. Forgotten. I painted this piece on a Facebook Live and gave it a blended treatment in the boldest of blues I could find. It has seen it's resurection day, and can now be the statement piece of the room.

This old foot locker was brought back to life with a little TLC and some fresh paint! It was painted with 2 coats of GF Chalk Style in Nantucket Green and then sanded down. It was then finished with some Flat Out Flat finish by General Finishes.

"Vintage Is The New Modern" This Buffet from the Roaring 20's was completely refurbished inside and out. It features Annie Sloan's Chalk Paint in Antibes and Louis Blue, with touches of Precious Metals Premium Finish in Gold Leaf. The art work on the doors was done with a mix of Annie Sloan Chalk Paints and Luiqitex Fine Art Paints.

The piece was then gilded in just the right places using Annie Sloan's Gilding Wax in Gold. To make all these colors really pop, I sealed the piece in 2 luxurious coats of General Finishes Gel Top Coat.

Bottom half of a hutch, handed down from my grandmother. I re-stained the top with Minwax stain in Jacobean, and painted the rest with Wise Owl Higgins Lake, sealed it with General Finishes High Performance Top Coat. I found some cool back plates for the pulls in my garage!

When y’all found this sad Queen Ann royal desk it was covered in a drab gray paint job that was oh so sad. The drawers were painted shut and it was peeling. After a beautiful redo in chocolate and ivory with lovely blue hardware it back to its royal self!

It's not very often I have good luck in auctions. As a Mama to 5 kids ages 12 and under, I don't have much time to stand around all day at an auction waiting for a great deal, which is why I was thrilled to find an online auction house near me. My very first bid was on this beautiful dresser. Sure, it had it's flaws and didn't look like much in the picture, but I could see the potential....and I'm glad I was the only one, I got it for a steal!

If you have ever been to Northern Illinois in January, you know it's not very fun. It's very cold. And windy. Like, the wind hurts your face kind of cold. Because I won this in January, this one was painted in my kitchen. Yes, with those 5 kids running around along with the dog...it was a challenge. But there was a vision. A vision of blended blues and red. Distressing and just a touch of drippy goodness was to go onto this beautiful dresser. A combination of Wise Owl Chalk Synthesis paints created this beautiful boho love.

"The last time I saw Paris"

This gorgeous JB Van Sciver dresser was my first choice of picks in a recent partnership with my local Habitat for Humanity. She had beautiful bones to start with, but just look at her now!! She needed some basic minor repairs and new hardware and then the rest is pure fun and fancy!! I started with Annie Sloan Duck Egg and Old Ochre to adorn all those wonderful curves. The drawer fronts were decoupaged with a darling Paris themed wall paper border I picked up in my travels. And since sometimes I don’t know when to stop once I get started I added some raised stencil and pinstripes so her side view would hold your attention almost as much as her front! After all a girl needs as much bling in her swing as she can muster some days! I used both clear and dark wax to accentuate all those fancy details and added just a bit of French inspired stenciling on the top drawers to give her another hidden "surprise inside". Who wouldn’t want to wake up to this lovely lady in her boudoir every morning?
