I'm in love with this set! We refinished these with General Finishes Lamp Black milk paint and Brown Mahogany gel stain. I used high performance top coat in flat on the black and satin on the stain and it looks amazing!

This buffet was like most that I come across, needing a lot of love but worth every minute spent. The veneer on top was completely taken off and sanded down and restained in GF antique walnut gel stain. The four feet were broken off so new were made and added back on. The legs were then stripped and restained as well with GF gel stain in antique walnut and given a coat of Miss Mustard Seed Hemp Oil. The chipping veneer throughout the body was repaired and the body then sanded before recieveing 2 coats of Zinsser oil based primer to prevent bleed through. After 2 coats of GF Milk Paint in Antique white, it wa sealed with 3 coats of GF High Performance Topcoat. After drying a few days a light glaze was added into the deatils to make them pop. I love the end result!

My client’s fell in love with the vintage farmhouse look and asked me to redesign a 1970s dresser they found online.

My client chose Sherwin Williams Attitude Gray for the body of the piece. I suggested we try for a pickled looking finish top... the existing top was mostly pressed wood (very common for its age) with a thin veneer, but due to the intricate shape, I chose to tackle the original top.

Using my orbital sander, I removed all of the original finish along with some pink and green nail polish!

A custom blend base stain, consisting of GF American Oak and Golden Pine Gel Stains, was applied using a Wooster foam brush and the excess wiped back with paper shop towels. After thorough dry time, I applied random thin layers of GF Gray Gel Stain and Miss Lillian’s Cottage White Gel Stain... blending and wiping back until the perfect pickled finish appeared. The top was sealed and protected with 3 coats of GF HPTC in Satin.

The combo of our new custom stained top, the Attitude Gray paint and new hardware brought this 1970s chunky monkey piece right into the modern farmhouse world!

Taking inspiration from warehouse crates and industrial letters/numbers this 11 drawer piece was transformed. All 11 drawers were refinished. After sanding the existing finish a light coat of GF HP Flat finish sealer was applied to drawer fronts. After dry a light hand rubbed finish of Java was applied to highlight wood grain. . Graphics were added and then the drawers were sealed again. The body is in Queenstown gray and a new "beefy" Rustic wood top was added and given the same gel stain finish as drawers. All hardware was hand patina finished.

"Blue is my signiture Color". This elegant Morganton french provincial chest on chest was part of a three piece custom order and was painted in my favorite navy shade from Recolor called "Night" which I then deepen using straight Black Wax. The drawer fronts were stripped and restained in a 50/50 mixture of Dark Walnut and Special Walnut and sealed with Polycrylic. This is one of my favorite finishes and it never fails to impress my clients.

Nice Kent Coffey tallboy but I was craving something exciting so I went with this dipped look. With my bff Frog tape this look is not hard with some good measuring and tricks for a straight line! I sanded this piece and prepped and sprayed this piece with GF Snow White Milk paint then sealed with GF High Performance in flat. All the wood parts were wood conditioned with GF wood conditioner, applied GF Nutmeg Gel stain and sprayed with Clear Enduro in flat. Topped off by adding nice brass bar pulls to the top drawers.

This gorgeous buffet top was created using multiple stain colors while brushing in a white wash in a 2 day multi-step process for a one of a kind beautifully finishes top, the body was covered with pale yellow tones as not to steal the show from the amazing top.
